Wardrobes on rent in Bhubaneswar
From ₹666/month, inclusive of taxes. Doorstep delivery, maintenance included, three-month minimum.
A great deal of Bhubaneswar's rented housing is let to people who are here for a fixed stretch — students around KIIT and Patia, and young professionals in Chandrasekharpur and Saheed Nagar on their first or second posting. Two years is a normal horizon, and buying an almirah for two years is money you do not get back.
Rooms here also tend to be smaller than the furniture sold for them. A wide two-door wardrobe in a single room leaves you edging round it to reach the bed. Our narrowest is 45cm across and about the footprint of a bedside table, which is often the difference between a room that works and one that does not.
Then there is the weather. An Odisha summer followed by a proper monsoon is hard on furniture pushed against an outside wall, and engineered wood is the material that shows it first — at the base, where the damp sits. It is worth deciding that question before you order rather than after a season.

Worth knowing before you rent one
Built for the damp, if you want it
The plastic wardrobe does not swell, rust or give termites anything to work with, which through a Bhubaneswar monsoon is a genuine advantage over engineered wood rather than a marketing line.
Fits a single room
At 45cm wide the single-door model takes about as much floor as a bedside table while still giving a full-length hanging rail and two drawers. The wider two-door models are there when the room can take them.
Ends when your course or posting does
Three-month minimum, then carry on for as long as you need it. When you leave the city we collect it and refund the deposit — no resale, no disposal, nothing to hand over to the next tenant.
What it costs to rent wardrobes in Bhubaneswar

Renting wardrobes in Bhubaneswar — questions
How much does it cost to rent a wardrobe in Bhubaneswar?
From ₹666 a month, inclusive of taxes. Longer tenures cost less per month, and paying the whole tenure upfront waives the deposit and discounts the rent further.
Will it fit in a single room?
The 45cm single-door model will — it is roughly the footprint of a bedside table and still takes a full-length hanging rail plus two drawers. The two-door models run from 71cm to 82cm wide and want a room with a clear wall. Measure the wall before you choose, not the room.
Wooden or plastic for a room here?
If the room has an outside wall that stays damp through the monsoon, or is on the ground floor, the plastic one is the sensible choice — it cannot absorb water and termites have nothing to eat. Otherwise engineered wood looks better and is just as usable, and damage from ordinary damp during your rental is ours to put right either way.
Do you deliver to student accommodation near KIIT?
Yes, subject to your building allowing it — we deliver across Patia and the surrounding area. Check with your warden or landlord first if you are in a hostel or a paying-guest arrangement, since some do not permit tenants to bring in their own furniture.
Which parts of Bhubaneswar do you deliver to?
Coverage is by pincode and includes Patia, Chandrasekharpur, Saheed Nagar, Jaydev Vihar, Nayapalli and the areas around them. Enter your pincode at checkout and we confirm before you pay.
