Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
Turnkey Living is a rental platform for appliances and furniture, owned and operated by Fitverse Wellfin Private Limited, a company registered under the Companies Act, having its registered office at 32, Chowringhee Road, Om Tower, 7th Floor, U-706, Russel Street, Kolkata, Kolkata – 700071, West Bengal, India ("Turnkey Living", "we", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why, and how we handle it.
By registering for or using our services, you consent to our collecting, processing, storing, transferring and disclosing your personal information as described here and in accordance with applicable data protection law — for the purposes of providing and securing the service, processing transactions, communicating with you, meeting our legal obligations, and preventing fraud. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not register for or use our services.
Information we collect
When you create an account, place an order or complete KYC, we collect:
- Your name, email address and phone number
- Delivery address(es) you save to your account
- Your stated occupation and the related details (employer and work email, business name and GSTIN, or institute name)
- Documents uploaded for KYC verification — a government ID, proof of address, and where applicable a document evidencing your occupation
- Order and payment history (payment itself is processed by Razorpay — see below)
Log data
Like most websites, we record information your browser sends whenever you visit ("Log Data"). This may include your IP address, browser type and version, the pages you visit, the date and time of your visit, how long you spend on a page, and similar diagnostic data. We use it to keep the service running, investigate errors and detect abuse. Log Data is generally kept for a shorter period than your account information, except where it is needed to strengthen security or where the law requires us to keep it longer.
Why we collect it
We use this information to verify your identity before dispatching a rented product, deliver and install it at the right address, process payments and refunds, communicate order updates, and provide customer support.
Cookies and tracking technologies
Turnkey Living uses essential, first-party session cookies to keep you signed in and remember the contents of your cart. These are necessary for the site to work and are set without asking. We also measure how the site is used — which pages are visited, how people arrive, and which parts of the site are working — with Google Analytics and with a simple counter of our own. We do not build advertising profiles, we do not personalise ads, and we do not sell your data.
If you have not agreed to analytics cookies(the banner on your first visit asks, and “No thanks” is one click), no analytics cookie is set and no identifier is stored on your device. Google Analytics still runs in a restricted mode: it is told that a page was viewed, which page, and how you arrived, and it receives what any web request carries, such as your IP address and browser type. Google uses this for aggregated and modelled reporting. Our own counter records only the page, the website you came from, any campaign tags in the link you followed, and the kind of device, added to a running total. It stores no IP address, cookie or identifier, so a single visit cannot be traced back to you.
If you choose “Allow analytics cookies”, Google Analytics sets its own cookies and collects a randomly generated identifier, your approximate location derived from your IP address, and the pages you view, so it can recognise return visits. We also load Google's advertising measurement tag, so we can tell whether a visit that began with one of our adverts led to an order; ad personalisation is switched off. If you change your mind after agreeing, choosing “No thanks” deletes the identifiers already stored on your device. You can also opt out across every site that uses Analytics by installing Google's browser opt-out add-on. You can also set your browser to refuse cookies or to warn you when one is being set — but the session cookies are what keep you signed in and hold your cart, so refusing those will stop parts of the service working.
Sharing with third parties
We share the minimum information necessary with: Razorpay, to process your payment securely (Turnkey Living does not store your card details); Google Analytics, which receives usage data about your visit but never your name, email, address or order details; and our delivery personnel, to fulfil and install your order. These parties have access to your information only to perform those tasks on our behalf, and are obliged not to disclose it or use it for any other purpose. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Information also travels the other way. Where a technician is assigned to install something for you, we show you their name, and their contact number where they have agreed to that, so you know who is coming to your home and can reach them about the visit. Please use those details only for that purpose. They stop being shown once the installation is complete, or sooner if that person no longer works with us.
Disclosure required by law
We may disclose your personal data where we are required to do so by applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request, including in response to valid orders or inquiries from courts, regulators, law enforcement or other public authorities.
We may also disclose it where we have a good-faith belief that doing so is necessary to comply with a legal obligation; to protect and defend our rights, property or legitimate interests; to detect, prevent or investigate actual or suspected wrongdoing connected with the service; to protect the personal safety of our users or the public; or to protect ourselves from legal liability.
If our business changes hands
In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganisation, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, your personal data may transfer to the acquiring or successor entity as part of that transaction. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before any such transfer takes place and before your personal data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
Storage & security
Your information is stored on secured servers with access restricted to authorized personnel only. KYC documents are only used for verification and are not shared outside Turnkey Living except where required by law.
We take security seriously, but no method of transmitting information over the internet or storing it electronically is completely secure. While we use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
How long we keep your data
We retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this policy. Beyond that, we keep it to the extent needed to comply with our legal obligations — tax, accounting and the record-keeping our rental agreements require — to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements and policies. Usage data is generally kept for a shorter period, except where it is used to strengthen the security or functionality of the service, or where the law requires a longer period.
Your account and password
You are responsible for keeping the password to your account confidential, and you are responsible to Turnkey Living for everything that happens under your account. If you become aware of any unauthorised use of your password or your account, tell us immediately at support@turnkeyliving.in.
Children's privacy
Our service is not directed at anyone under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Renting from us requires KYC verification and entering a rental agreement, neither of which a minor can do. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other sites
Our service may contain links to sites we do not operate. If you follow one, you will be taken to that third party's site, and we would encourage you to read its privacy policy. We have no control over, and take no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party site or service.
Your rights
You can review and update your personal details any time from your account's Profile & Settings page. To request a copy or deletion of your data, email us at support@turnkeyliving.in.
Events outside our control
We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations under this policy where it is caused by events beyond our reasonable control — including acts of God, natural disasters, epidemics, governmental action, changes in law, strikes or labour disputes, civil unrest, terrorism, war, power outages, telecommunications or internet failures, cyberattacks, or the failure of a supplier or service provider. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to limit the effect of any such event and restore normal service as soon as we practically can, and we will tell affected users about material disruptions to our handling of their data and, where we can, how long we expect it to last and what we are doing about it. Nothing in this section limits any obligation we cannot lawfully exclude.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above, and you are encouraged to review this page periodically. Changes take effect once posted here.
