A bean bag is the piece of furniture a rented flat tends to be missing and a lease makes awkward to buy. It is bulky, it is not worth carrying from HSR Layout to Whitefield when the lease ends, and a spare seat is only useful for as long as you have the room for one. Renting it for the length of the lease gives you somewhere to sit back and put your feet up without a sofa to buy, sell or move.
We rent three sizes, each with a footrest and a cushion, in faux leather that wipes clean with a damp cloth. They arrive already filled and ready to use, so there is nothing to assemble and nothing to pour. The 4XL is the size most people mean by a bean bag chair; the 5XL is a full-size lounger a metre across; and the 7XL is closer to a small sofa, with a structured back, and two people fit across it.
They are indoor pieces. Put one in a corner of the living room, by a window to read, or in front of the television.

Worth knowing before you rent one
Pick the size by the room, not the picture
The 4XL is about 66 cm wide and 119 cm tall, the 5XL is about a metre across and 130 cm tall, and the 7XL is 81 cm wide and 137 cm tall. The 7XL is the biggest object of the three, so measure the corner and the doorway before you choose it over a smaller one.
A footrest and a cushion come with it
Every size includes a footrest and a cushion, so it is a whole corner of a room rather than one thing you then have to add to. The footrest is separate, which means it can be pulled over when you want your feet up and pushed away when you want the floor back.
Wipe-clean cover, ready on arrival
The cover is faux leather, so a spill is a damp cloth rather than a wash. It comes filled, with nothing to assemble. Three months is the minimum rental, longer tenures cost less per month, and when the lease ends we collect it.
