Worth knowing before you rent one
Filters are included, and that is the point
A HEPA filter is a consumable, and a replacement costs about a third of what the machine does. On a purifier you have bought that is a bill every year for as long as you own it. Here it is part of the rent for as long as you keep it.
Quiet enough to leave on at night
29 dB on the lowest setting. That number decides whether a purifier actually runs in a bedroom or gets switched off after the first week — which is the difference between owning one and benefiting from one.
Nothing to install, and it moves
A 21.5 cm cylinder weighing 1.5 kg with an ordinary plug. It goes where you are — the bedroom at night, the study during the day — and there is no fitting, no bracket and nothing on a wall you will hand back.

How much does it cost to rent an air purifier in Bengaluru?

What size room will it cover?
Up to about 235 square feet — a normal bedroom or a study — turning that volume over roughly every twelve minutes. In a larger living room it will still help, but it is working against more air than it is rated for, and a closed door is what makes it effective.
Are filter replacements really included?
Yes, for as long as you rent it. That is the main reason renting one costs less than owning one over a year, and it is the cost people forget when they compare the two.
Does it help with dust from construction nearby?
That is what the three stages are for. A pre-filter takes the coarse dust and hair, the H13 HEPA filter takes the fine particles including PM2.5 and PM10, and activated carbon handles smoke and smells. It cannot stop dust entering the room; it removes it once it has.
Can I rent it for just a few months?
Three months is our minimum, which for most people here is the right length anyway — the worst stretch is the dry months and the still weeks in winter. Take it then, send it back, take one again next year.
