Printers on rent in Bengaluru
From ₹1,281/month, inclusive of taxes. Doorstep delivery, maintenance included, three-month minimum.
A home printer is the appliance most likely to be needed urgently and used rarely. It sits idle for months, and then a lease, a visa file, a set of invoices or a school form arrives and the nearest shop is shut, twenty minutes away, or both.
Bought, that machine has a particular failure mode: the ink dries in the heads between jobs, the cartridges cost most of what the printer did, and the thing that was meant to save a trip becomes the reason for one. Rented, the failure mode is our problem — repairs and replacements are included, so a printer that stops working is a phone call rather than a purchase.
There are two here and they are for different people. The monochrome laser is built for volume — thirty pages a minute, a 30,000-page monthly duty cycle, and no ink to dry out. The colour ink tank all-in-one uses refillable tanks rather than cartridges, which puts the running cost at around ten paise a black page.

Worth knowing before you rent one
Laser for volume, ink tank for colour
If you print contracts, invoices or statements in quantity, the laser is the machine — it does not dry out between jobs and it does not care about the gap. If you need colour at all, the ink tank is the one, and cheap enough per page to print without thinking about it.
Both print, scan and copy over Wi-Fi
Neither needs a cable to a computer. They join the flat's network and print from a phone or a laptop anywhere in it, with automatic two-sided printing and a scanner on top — the ink tank also faxes, for the one institution that still asks.
Set up before we leave
Delivered, connected to your Wi-Fi and test-printed at the visit. You are not left with a setup wizard, a driver download and a machine that will not appear on the network.

Renting printers in Bengaluru — questions
How much does it cost to rent a printer in Bengaluru?
From ₹1,281 a month, inclusive of taxes, with repairs and replacements included. Longer tenures cost less per month, and paying a tenure upfront removes the deposit.
Is ink or toner included?
Each machine arrives with its supplies filled and ready to print. Consumables used during a long rental are replenished at cost — tell us when you are running low rather than buying a cartridge yourself, since the wrong one voids nothing but wastes your money.
Which one should I take?
Laser if it is black text in volume — a practice, a small office, anyone printing hundreds of pages a month. Ink tank if you need colour, or print in bursts. Running cost on the ink tank is about ₹0.10 a black page and ₹0.20 in colour.
Can a company rent one?
Yes. Rentals can be raised in a business name with GST details on the invoice — add them at checkout and they appear on every month's invoice rather than just the first.
How long does delivery take?
Three days, counted from the point your KYC documents go in, and set up on the day.
